JMBM seeks an exceptional associate with at least 2 years of real estate transactional experience. This associate will work closely with all members of our Real Estate Group, and will also have the opportunity to work with our Global Hospitality Group®. JMBM represents owners, operators, investors, developers, lenders, private equity firms, family offices and high net worth individuals in all aspects of real estate transactions and development. This position provides broad exposure to a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, construction, development, and leasing. Under the supervision and training of active partners, the associate will assist with negotiating and drafting transactional agreements, performing due diligence and closing transactions. JMBM is a collaborative environment that encourages professional development at all levels. Our Real Estate Group is complemented by our hospitality, land use, corporate, tax, labor, and intellectual property practices, and our full-service litigation department. Sophisticated law firm experience is required. Finance and leasing experience is desired. California Bar Admission is required.
The actual base salary offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and experience in the legal industry. As of the date of posting, associates with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience who met JMBM’s minimum performance standards received total compensation (base salary plus a discretionary year-end bonus) ranging from $265,000 to $365,000 in 2024, which represents the lowest and highest compensations for such range.
