Real Estate Associate - Los Angeles

Carlton Fields is seeking a second- to fifth-year associate with significant and substantive experience in commercial and real estate transactions to join its rapidly growing real estate practice in Los Angeles. Experience working with commercial lenders, developers, servicers, asset managers, owners, financial institutions, and investors in a diverse range of financing, development, and investment matters preferred. Also, experience working with loan, joint venture, and LLC documents is a plus. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California (but the firm is willing to consider strong candidates seeking to relocate to Los Angeles), have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work individually, on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are valued. Excellent long term opportunity for the right individual. Practical prior non-legal business experience in the commercial real estate industry is a plus.
