Winston & Strawn's Houston office is seeking to hire an associate to join our Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities will include, without limitation, all facets of a sophisticated real estate practice: drafting and negotiating transactional documents and attendant due diligence responsibilities such as reviewing title, survey and other due diligence deliverables and coordinating with title companies, surveyors and other third party due diligence providers. Exposure to real estate purchases, sales, financing, and leasing is preferred. As an associate in the real estate practice, you will be an integral member of the department, and will gain meaningful experience working with our attorneys and our fortune 500 clients. The associate chosen for this position will work with one of the most experienced Real Estate Groups in the United States. The two most senior partners in Texas are members of the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers and other team members have worked on some of the most iconic real estate projects in the United States. Our Real Estate Group is known for its teaching and mentoring of young lawyers and is committed to continue this tradition with all team members. Admittance in Texas is required.
